These cabbage bud vegetables are an excellent weeknight side dish and only take 15 minutes to make. They are also extremely healthy and are somewhat high in potassium and protein. This recipe only requires four ingredients and tastes much better than the effort required to make them.
Recipe:
2 cups brussels sprouts, washed and halved
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt to taste - I recommend starting with at least 1/2 tsp
Preheat oven to 425ºF.
Mix the halved brussels sprouts with the salt, pepper, and oil in a medium bowl.
Empty out the sprouts flat side down onto a baking sheet. Roast for 15-17 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.

Note: The cooking time will depend on the size of the brussels sprouts and each oven.
